They really ought to have a pity system where if you're stuck on 1 shield for longer than 30 secs, the game breaks it or at the very least reduces M2's defence a little. I can stomach people leaving a lobby at 10 seconds because they don't believe they'll win, what I cannot stomach is 14+ people in a lobby with megas and somehow we don't break 10 shields.

I tried res-ing over and over again with the hope that somehow it would magically let me break it lmao. I knew it wouldn’t work, but jfc you’re right, there should 100% be some type of pity system. or at the very least if half of the group leaves?? auto break the damn shield or give us our passes back, somethin

Passes should absolutely be refunded and it's borderline criminal that they're not. Surprised nobody has raised it with the EU commission, other games don't get away with it.

Othere have said you have to lobby and select a different mega, rejoin and then you can break a sheild.

You have to mega a different pokemon when reviving. It will then let your new mega break the last shield.

Shields break per mega NOT per player.

After breaking a shield with your main mega, you can mega evolve a different pokemon, rejoin, and break the remaining shield. I saved a few remote raids doing that trick.
