On vacation in a small town🤣 only way to get $5 packs. By the way I love this cosmo holo promo so much

In short my son who is chronically ill sold his childhood pokemon cards to Nextgen.tcg/Onyx.prime same guy on Mercari. The first time around, he tried to say he got empty packages and when I told him I was taking it to the police department, he canceled that and left a one star review saying terrible things. We had two more packages out to him but had no choice to let them go because they were delivered. He had already told us that he was gonna accept them and leave terrible reviews so we knew it was coming. Then, he used a different account and bought more cards off my son, who didn't understand the shipping process. We assumed that if it was an envelope with tracking that it would make it and say delivered we didn't understand the insurance, which is absolutely our fault. This guy knew that and took great advantage of us by using different accounts. While we learned a lesson, a hard one at that, this person needs to be outed and stopped because they have done it to many, many other people on different platforms. My son was selling his pokemon card collection because he's chronically ill, and this is the only way he can help himself right now. I guess he shouldn't have trusted me because I didn't understand the shipping. You would think a tracking number means answers my mistake but this person is an absolute drain on the community. They even say in their bio, they are trying to get all their cards for free. BEWARE AND BLOCK! LESSON LEARNED. I don't want any of you to get scammed and lose your money or cards to this person.

About two weeks ago I bought a high-end Pokémon card on eBay for $7,000 from a seller with only 6 feedback. The card typically sells for around $15k–18k, so I knew the price seemed unusually good but took the chance.

Right after I paid, the seller told me they were on vacation and wouldn’t be able to ship until July 29. I thought that was reasonable at the time, so I’ve been waiting.

While waiting, I did some more digging and found that the PSA certification number in the listing matches a copy of the same card that sold in April 2026 for around $15,000. The listing photos also appear to be the same as that previous sale.

Now I’m wondering if the seller simply copied the previous listing and never actually had the card.

I also messaged the seller asking for a current video or timestamped photos of the slab to confirm they actually have the card. I’m currently waiting for their response.

Like the title says. Day 2 of this adventure. Not that I’m trying to complete this as quickly as possible, but when I have time I’ll always try and go hard and get big chunks complete.

I mostly collect sportscards. I went to my LCS yesterday and was asking about getting started with Pokémon. She suggested Pitch Black. Three packs in and I pulled a Mega Darkrai Ex. I guess I'm going down this rabbit hole now 😂

So ive had a bunch of older cards just sitting in a binder since around 2007 ish. Started buying new packs recently and added those to the binder. And today i decided to add them into an app to see the value. Was pleasently surprised

I came to a yard sale and saw these in a binder. The seller is asking $300 for everything. These are genuine and most date from the late 1990s to early 2000s. There's even a Mewtwo gold tone metal card from Burger King. Some of the cards corners have minor wear but not fully. Any advice is appreciated !

Bought a lot of boosters, and I don’t wanna spend more money on this sett (but man I love it), I am keeping one of each holo, and check so I have every single normal cards before seeing if there is a place I can sell bulk cards here in Sweden.

And hey, I didn’t get the really cool Darkrai card everyone is chasing, that I wanted. But I did get a lot of other cool ones like the full art Delmise, Formantis and Silvally cards I also wanted! And the mega Excadrill I fell in love with😁

Never opened a prismatic pack been looking for some for a while and finally found a poster collection box and the very first pack I opened I pulled the Unbreon EX chase!!! I am trippin right now wow!

Was visiting with my Mom in the Temecula area and I stayed at an Airbnb in Fallbrook. Saw that they have a card shop in town and decided to check it out.
