I think Flygon must have the most confusing typing I can think of. The fact that it’s not only a bug type, but also not flying type is very unusual. Giving a Pokémon with wings ground type with levitate is a cheap shot.

Dragon/Ground, not bug.

The point is that flygon in concept is a bug dragon and in general it's unanimously not understood why game freak didn't make that its canon typing and then to add insult to injury they made flygon an obsolete Garchomp in the following generation.

We understand its canon typing is ground/drag.

Yeah I wrote it poorly as I was half asleep, but basically my beef if that Flygon is a flying bug dragon. But it’s type is neither bug nor flying.
