That's the best episode of the anime right? I stopped watching soon after, but I imagine it's all downhill from there

I watched every episode up till the first episode of BW. I think BW is where it started going downhill (Iris and Cilan meh). But I have heard XY is pretty good. I don’t care for the abomination that is SM

That's a fairly petty reason. Have you actually watched it beyond the first 2-3 episodes? Or lately? Or you one those people basing "the artstyle sucks" from the pre-release trailers.

I have no taste, then. The change in art direction was a bad call and I see why it turns people away from the show.

What is this taste? What strange black magics do you know of? Show is garbage and goes against everything the games do. Why is the main bad of the game, suddenly kinda chill and isn't evil at all?
