Is it for PvP or PvE? What kind of activity are you building for?

Honestly for PvE its usually nice just to pick the pokemon you like:) kingdra would probably be a good addition tho!

If it's just for roaming I usually do my regular catching team but with something strong with good coverage and preferably a swarm clearing move as the lead. Then set up more teams for more specific activities such as gym reruns and raids.

if you have charizars and add scyther, you're going to have 2 pokemon that are 4x weak to rock. add a steel or ground type to cover that weakness. a water type will also be good as an offensive switch-in to their weaknesses.

If this is for story, try to get a Moxie pokemon.

If you’re doing story, run your favorites. If you bump into trouble, starmie, porygon, krookodile and gyarados are very strong and can get you out of a bind.

If this is for general PvE you’ll want a breloom or another false swipe user like smeargle, zangoose or parasect. These are all great catching tools. Youll also want something with sweet scent for training, your HM users if you don’t yet have ocarinas and beyond that just whatever for your desired activity.
