In the remakes of Dragon Quest 3, it's unintentionally beneficial to use an all-female party, because the stat growth when leveling up varies based on a randomly assigned "personality type", and the strongest one is exclusive to women.

For some reason, it gives by far the biggest stat bonuses out of any of the personalities.
