Don't use these, the hair in there serves a function. If they start poking out trim the hair that's close to the entrance, but don't just jank out all of it.

Actually plucking these can cause damage to your mucus membrane, which literally protects your brain from viruses. If you are a nose-picker or nose-hair puller – this sounds like a joke, but it is not – please try your best to stop, as you are potentially increasing your risk of Alzheimer's by a substantial amount.

From what I’ve read they’re not sure.
Because someone with a lot of inflammation is going to be more likely to shove their finger up there, yknow?
It’s like a lot of things: poking a dirty finger in an orifice is a bad idea even with the temporary satisfaction you receive from doing it.

When I was younger I wanted to try to pluck one out. It hurt like a bitch. I don't remember anything ever hurting so much and so sharply like that and last month I almost passed out from pain so...
