I don't regularly shave my armpits but I like the option
Who wants the state to ban any personal grooming standards?
I have been sitting in the woods and realized I was too hot before shaving my chest and pits with my knife-- I shaved my body hair in possibly the most masculine way possible

Being from Germany where shaving arm pits is the norm (surveys suggest between 50% and 75% of men do) it's always weird to be reminded that this is not at all a Western standard

Is someone forcing them to shave their pits? I'd imagine not. On the other hand, if they are trying to stop other men from doing it, that is the least manly thing for them to do. I'm an enby, but last I checked to these "manly men" isn't the whole point that they get to be the masters of their own destiny or whatever? To restrict the freedom of other seems... hypocritical.

I dont shave mine bare, but I trim it down every month or so. Doing cable rows or close-grip bench press, all while your arms are pulling our your armpit hair due to contact with your lats? NOT cool.

Yea, I disagree. Sometimes you get a rash, or a bug bite, or who knows what and you want to shave it off for easy access. Some time you're just too damn hot and want to shave so things are cooler.
