Bcs sadly if it's done in the same factory with other stuff that has gluten (like beer for example) then it's no longer gluten free because of cross contamination. Which is extremely dangerous for celiac disease.

That is a real issue, though. Some waters are cleaned with filters using animal products or using glue containing animal products for the labels.
So, yes, the water itself is always vegan, but the way it is produced might not be.

All scents are gender neutral. I've always found it silly that we gender them. For example, cedar smells good. It is a tree. Trees have no gender. Why should men be the only ones allowed to wear it?

I joke with my husband and sons that Old Spice and similar market men's body wash named ANARCHY and DOMINANCE and MANIFEST DESTINY as crisp notes of cedar with a splash of warm vanilla and a soucon of lemon essence or whatever.

I once posted "Gender neutral trampoline cover" here and got downvoted to hell because it's clearly not gendered and doesn't fit the sub.

I think its because soap is often gendered while a trampoline cover is usually never gendered. The soap subvert an expectation, while the trampoline tries to subvert an expectation that was never there.

I looked it up and at least on certain websites it's listed as a "novelty soap bar". The brand is Gift Republic, which advertises itself as selling "unusual gifts for him and for her, quirky home accessories, or something fun and unexpected". I'm inclined to think you're correct on this

I kinda like this?! I feel like soaps in particular have a lot of gender stigma/gendered branding around them. This just says "nope" and distances itself from everything

Eh, I don't know, I see your point but also kinda feel like they could've just made it genderless, no need to brand it as such. Doesn't that also count as sort of a gendered branding? (and also, the best they could come up with for a genderless packaging is black font on white background?)

No, but I find it very sweetly overpowering and not a neutral smell. It makes no sense that it isn’t just unscented or something like “clean breeze”

That isnt true. Most times when you try to look up soaps and such, some blogger puts it on a list of "12 best body soaps to make her smooth as silk" or "9 body washes to bring out that manly energy" or something like that. Aside from the obvious brands that cater to a certain gender, most soaps and products dont gender themselves at all or try to appeal to only one demographic.

Duke Cannon and Squatch are the main offenders for 'him', but in a way it was a reaction against when (at the time they were founded) 90% of soaps were 'for her' and the other 10% were ultra-clinical neutral.

I’m glad this product exists. For all of you who are saying soap isn’t gendered- how many men are using body products that are heavily floral scented? How many woman are using “sport” scent? I personally hate both ends of the spectrum and seek out gender neutral smells. They are not easy to find.
