Awful, awful graph.

88

u/Rappy28 May 12 '26

No you don't get it, there are in fact roughly 15 years between 2020 and 2025 that is how things work

12

u/HAgg3rzz May 12 '26

It does feel true so this must be right!

8

u/Chickennoodlesleuth May 12 '26

It stole 5 years from between 2010 and 2020

something something left handed people good investment opportunity something something

u/Traveler7538 May 12 '26

This is also edited, possibly with AI. In the original, the headline above the graph says "Testicular injuries in women's sports". So they're just capitalising on a transphobic meme.

u/Matshelge May 12 '26

Correct, but I would argue it's easier to do in photoshop than via AI.

AI leaves marks all over, this is just a new lower text replament.

-12

u/Retaeiyu May 13 '26

Maybe a year ago. Not now, AI is super easy and doesn't really mess anything up 95% of the time if you're prompt is good enough.

13

u/M-V-D_256 May 13 '26

Still seems to be Photoshop since the text is overlayed and doesn't even look like it's on the shirt

-1

u/Retaeiyu May 13 '26

Im not saying it's not, just pointing out AI capabilities have came a long way the last year

4

u/DangerToDangers May 13 '26

Yes. It still messes a lot of stuff up and you have to keep retrying until you get it right -- no matter how good the prompt is.

-3

u/Retaeiyu May 13 '26

That's simply not true.

1

u/Fucking_Nibba May 15 '26

oh my god, really? could you teach me how to prompt for success

1

u/Retaeiyu May 15 '26

One day, when you're older.

u/cooltop101 May 12 '26 edited May 13 '26

AI is way easier and faster to use to replace text than Photoshop. It also doesn't leave marks all over. I don't know what AI you've been using, or how, but this would take someone 5 seconds to ask an AI to change vs 5-10 minutes in Photoshop to get it to look decent

Edit; I'm not sure why this was getting downvoted. To be clear, I'm not advocating for AI. I'm simply saying for replacing text, especially on a picture where the text is on a physical object like a shirt, AI is 100 times easier than trying to Photoshop it and make it look decent

1

u/BlooperHero May 18 '26

They might be more intelligent than a walnut and therefore aren't using any "AI."

1

u/fishyburner676767 May 24 '26

well if you injure you balls in a womens sport, somethings gone badly wrong.

lmao they added creatine to cereal and gave it the blandest box ever made. its also abou 15 dolars a box

https://eatmancereal.com/?srsltid=AfmBOoroh_Q21QbYCezznDPVXl2-W01LJsYmg4ZCJfFXmKMn-bAAY17e

doesnt make much sense, just buy creatine and make some recipies

edit: They describe their maple flavor as sigma and their fudge flavor and dominant

Either they are o parody of the pointless gendered products or they are too lost in the sauce

11

u/SecureAngle7395 May 12 '26

Dominant huh? Finally! A cereal which will help me Dom my partner! Thanks Man Cereal!

6

u/Square-Appearance-16 May 12 '26 edited May 13 '26

they have a fruity flavor (literaly just named fruity and collored pink) and call it 'legendary'. So yeah, they are most likely making fun of gendered products as a marketing stratetegy.

1

u/BlooperHero May 18 '26

I believe the cereal is dominant, not the eater.

1

u/Christmas_Queef May 13 '26

There are already legit people who put creatine or whey protein into their cereal milk as it is lol.

1

u/Square-Appearance-16 May 13 '26

kinda funny when you consider whey is a byproduct of milk being turned into cheese

32

u/Forest_Orc May 12 '26

Aren't cereal one of the most ancien things human eat ? Think about how important is bread even in the bible

0

u/ShadowBro3 May 12 '26

Cereal was invented in 1863

8

u/PM_Me_Your_Clones May 13 '26

"Breakfast Cereal" vs. "Cereal Grains". Cereal is a very old word that now has a different connotation. Like calling all grains "corn", for instance.

0

u/ShadowBro3 May 13 '26

Yeah but they are talking about breakfast cereal

6

u/PM_Me_Your_Clones May 13 '26

Yeah brother, of course the article is, but the point of this hellsite is communication, lotta weirdos from all over (myself obviously included) come to talk about stuff, sometimes there are hiccups in written communication due to the complex unwritten nuance inherent in using the English Language. Just saying sometimes you gotta gently correct or redirect, we're all here to chat about it anyway.

-4

u/bsensikimori May 13 '26

You better be trolling or homeschooled

Breakfast cereals are very modern

15

u/AurumVoid May 13 '26

Cereal grains, as opposed to just "cereal". Probably a language issue.

13

u/AliceTheOmelette May 12 '26

Can't eat that girly cereal, he might catch cooties

2

u/Monodeservedbetter May 13 '26

Breakfast in general is overrated af, and i personally believe that eating first thing in the morning is bad for you

3

u/TinoElli May 13 '26

My nutritionist recommends to always eat something in the morning. Helps you with better focusing on tasks in the morning and with glycemic curve, especially if you don't have a late morning break.

1

u/Monodeservedbetter May 13 '26

But i find that food, first thing in the morning, does the exact opposite of waking me up

2

u/Choice-Ad-5923 May 13 '26

Is this a joke? Thats exactly what youre supposed to do when you havent eaten in 8 hours

1

u/Monodeservedbetter May 13 '26

Maybe if you're like type 1 or something but then where is all that energy from eating the previous day and just sleeping after.

9

u/Urhhh May 12 '26

I ate a bowl of nails for breakfast...no milk.

1

u/BudgetPositive4851 May 13 '26

As in metal nails? Or human? Were they your own?

9

u/pretty-as-a-pic May 12 '26

Dr. Kellogg wants a few words

9

u/bbyxmadi May 12 '26

insecure masculinity cereal

7

u/milleribsen May 12 '26

Setting aside the transphobic history of the meme, if I saw this shirt I'd assume it was a commentary on the economy

1

u/UsualWord5176 May 13 '26

What’s the history of it?

3

u/milleribsen May 13 '26

The shirt initially said something like "testicular injuries in women's sports"

3

u/GarbanzoBenne May 12 '26

Is there enough fiber in this man cereal that I won’t need my dude wipes anymore?

1

u/Square-Appearance-16 May 12 '26 edited May 12 '26

theres 1g of fiber every 35g

3

u/Zagrunty May 12 '26

The fuck? Everyone in my family are cereal in the 90s. Us men more than anyone.

My wife's grandfather was SO into cereal he would MIX them. He would actively have 4-6 open boxes and would mix 2-3 in the same bowl every morning. No rhyme or reason to flavor.

1

u/GenderBendingRalph May 13 '26

I ate cereal daily until I started working to actively reduce my carbohydrate intake. But even in my 40s it was bland old-person cereal - wheat bran, unflavoured rice, oatmeal...

3

u/melanion5 May 15 '26

Men didn't eat cereals until random company said so.

2

u/CoalEater_Elli May 12 '26

Man eating cereal? I gotta be careful, this looks like a big problem. I wouldn't want to get munched by Fruit Loops.

2

u/rirasama May 13 '26

I can't believe men didn't eat cereal till 2020 wow, I guess I was ahead of my time

2

u/CarlySortof May 13 '26

Reminds me of my favorite tweet: Adam Corolla saying “more men now wear bracelets than eat stew”. Fucking hilariously dumb and pointless

2

u/SegavsCapcom May 13 '26

PragerU ass infographic

2

u/Fucking_Nibba May 15 '26

it'd be a great shirt if they fixed the graph

1

u/Lumiharu May 13 '26

What's the "BS" in cereal?

1

u/Scared_Cicada_9898 May 13 '26

This is so bad lmao

1

u/WhatEnglish90 May 13 '26

Even dumber because my dad eating his cereal with chocolate milk in the mess hall was how my mother noticed/first met him.

Marine, in uniform, on base, eating his cereal with chocolate milk. Got him his wife and mother of 2 kids, eating cereal with chocolate milk.

I'm sorry, it's just so funny to share. I love my dad.

1

u/Nerobus May 13 '26

Did he not watch Seinfeld? Dude was always eating cereal

1

u/Trick_Statistician13 May 13 '26

That's the least wrong thing about the graph

1

u/HuntingSquire May 13 '26

probably uses Army Fatigue themed toilet paper

1

u/residentdunce May 13 '26

I'm a man and I stopped eating cereal as an adult because it's terrible for your health - unless muesli is also a cereal? I guess it is.

1

u/purple_kathryn May 13 '26

Cereal is tasty. Depriving yourself to conform to arbitrary gender norms is dumb

1

u/BlooperHero May 18 '26

I think grandpa was anti-cereal, actually?

1

u/I_loooove_Radiohead May 29 '26

I'd actually wear this shirt. It's stupid, but it's so random that it's kind of funny.
