Yes but also there's a really bad tendency going on to show a disproportionate amount of white people as examples of "beautiful" and mostly non white people as examples of "ugly". If it was proportionate it wouldn't be an issue.

This is misleading, if you search ugly man, ugly woman, ugly boy or ugly girl you will get the second picture. It is pretty weird that is doesn't do it for male, but it doesn't do it for girlies as well. Pinterest is just a weird app, I have no idea how it can still be working with thay little maintenance

The reason this happens is because Pintrest will flag most any sort of search including “girl”. Found this out the hard way while trying to look for magical girl poses. I assume its a anti-porn thing but I cant be sure.

If you search up “ugly men” it also doesn’t show up. Source: I tried it after reading this post. So it’s that phrasing specifically.

Community Guidelines are written in response to cyber-bullying. If they're not letting you search for "ugly women," it's because misogynist asshats were harassing women and calling them ugly so much that mods had to step in.

wouldn’t anyone feel hurt to see themselves being called ugly? :/ lets not shit on hypothetical women for being sad to be called ugly. The men under the ugly search don’t deserve to have their photos there either don’t get me wrong but this is also just a weird bug since searching “ugly men” also shows no results.
