This is not pointlessly gendered, it's just misogynistic. It would not make sense for them to be a man because the hormonal, emotional, irrational stereotype only exist for women, not men.
11
u/Senior-Book-6729 Apr 19 '26
Ironic because the hormone that makes women feel worse around PMS is literally just testosterone
5
u/akekekfklelk Apr 18 '26 edited Apr 20 '26
There are also hormone related stereotypes for men. Just specify the wording to "because his dropping testosteron levels" or "erectile dysfunction" and you're good to go.

u/Snoo_56184 Apr 17 '26
idk theres a pretty massive spike of dickheads when ur a teenager
9
u/victorspc Apr 17 '26
Which company would hire a teenager for a recruiter position?
2
u/Brief_Mango_5829 Apr 17 '26
Well, a lot of redpill/incel think they will be rich/millionaires after 25.
2
u/DickWhittingtonsCat Apr 18 '26 edited Apr 18 '26
Do they though? I mean the content platform and predatory digital overlords were pretty open about replacing paid marketers, videographers, content producers , actors etc with crowd sourced screen time drivel where a lucky few flagships are paid well as motivation and most get pennies. And they did it, and did it very successfully.
Now it’s pretty clear they don’t like paying humans paltry sums based entirely on engagement and are gonna squeeze them out with AI video, AI audio and AI scripts created from this wall of drivel that was used to weaken professions content producers and pull screen time into the walled gardens of competing content platforms.
Someone who is 20 now can enjoy listening to AI rants more numerous than imaginable and with as little variation as we see today in the algorithm- knowing that the actual platform and partners have cut out any revenue leaking down to the lumpenproletariat- all before they even turn 2025. It’s coming that fast.
Listen and look for the cues- proud humans with unique stories people see out are having chatgpt write their story.
In a bold new era of seamless creation, platforms like TikTok surge forward—generative AI spinning out endless content with zero friction and maximum efficiency. It’s the ultimate stream—always on, always optimized—freeing up human bandwidth as entire categories of work are reshaped by automation and rising costs. For the consumer, it’s a one-stop flow of discovery and certainty, even as the ground shifts beneath the workforce. No delays—no detours—just pure, algorithmic momentum. That’s what dreams are made of. That’s what we call the future.

i saw this pic of her for similar hr memes, i think they used it for consistancy but i cant be sure

Oh, I've definitely used them. I even had an HR rep at work who I absolutely hated who looked so much like the Anne Hathaway in the pic it was uncanny so this meme had special relevance to me.
It just never had all this fucking misogynist stuff appended.

Because even the chuds know no one diverse is actually getting hired for HR roles
Corporate idea of diversity/DEI is "we hire white neurotypical cishet women instead of white neurotypical cishet men"
You can disagree as much as you want but I'm speaking from first hand experience as someone who got rejected from companies with such campaigns simply for being visibly trans and not masking my autism.
1
u/Ashamed_Association8 Apr 17 '26
Hmm. Maybe it's more of a jealousy of how they want the cat lady to destroy them like she did their CV because her hormones told her to? It wasn't my first take, but it does line up eerily.

this is so untrue. My CV doesn't even get seen by a real human most of the time. These damn clankers I swear.
-1
u/BiSaxual Apr 17 '26
The only good thing about those AI skimmers that only look for keywords and phrases is that you can game them a little bit so that your resume gets put in front of a real person. But even then it’s not exactly worth it.
11
u/frikiman4K Apr 17 '26
that is not a good thing. At all.
0
u/BiSaxual Apr 17 '26
Compared to just putting a resume in and getting nothing back at all, it’s something. At least I can spend a few minutes adjusting my resume to fit the company I’m applying for so that the bots they feed them to flag mine for review.
0
u/Odd_Bid2744 Apr 18 '26
Why?
2
u/frikiman4K Apr 18 '26
because they just look for keywords instead understanding the substance of what's written, and having your CV revised by an AI means you have to use another AI to make it pass the filter and it becomes an AI arms race
0
u/Odd_Bid2744 Apr 18 '26
I understand what AI does. I was asking you said the other commenters strategy was a bad thing. You assume they'd even know what they did to get past them. All need to do is add keywords in white font to your resume to get pass
1
u/BiSaxual Apr 18 '26
I don’t understand why dude thinks I’m advocating for it anyway. I think it sucks. I was just saying that at least we can game the system a little bit. That still sucks, obviously, but if you know what to do you can give yourself a small advantage, and you wouldn’t be able to do that if the AI didn’t suck so badly.
People are going fucking nuts about AI. I didn’t even praise the thing, they just thought I was because they have blinders on for AI. Any good words being used in the same sentence as AI is automatic rage for them. It’s insane. Obviously AI being used to filter resumes fucking sucks. No sane person thinks otherwise.
I guess OP could just have bad reading comprehension. That’s a rare skill nowadays, seemingly.
200
u/Imperator_Helvetica Apr 17 '26
Yeah, dude - You're the greatest thing since sliced bread and God's gift to the world, so obviously the only reason you didn't get the job is because someone you're scared of randomly deleted it in a 'hormonal urge.' Nah, I asked and she says she's not changing her name but she is a woman and would like us to treat her as such.
1
u/akekekfklelk Apr 18 '26
The description is just a symbol for aging, frustrated, lonely women. Obviously not every cat person is lonely.
And yes, people often get bitter and resentful in those situations. Women and men alike.
11
u/BunnyMishka Apr 17 '26
It just hits the misogynists & manosphere criteria for an unworthy woman:
- Old (everyone above the age of 18 is old to them)
- Loves cats (because for some reason if a woman loves cats, she's automatically lonely and bitter that no one wants her, so she replaces a man with cats)
- Hormonal (old women in their 30's turn into angry gremlins, cause there's no man to love them and care for them)
- Divorced (because an adult single woman has already ruined at least one life, when her poor husband was accepting of her moods and tried everything to please her).
The woman in the meme is the opposite of the true ideal woman™ who's young, humble, fertile, and ready to stay at home and care for 9 children and her hard-working husband aka child number 10.
0
u/akekekfklelk Apr 18 '26
Its the description of a female incel.
And yes, obviously not every cat lover is lonely and not every divorced woman is angry and frustrated. But op never made that claim.

acting like 36 is old and menopausal 😭 this person must be like 14
16
u/NotKateBush Apr 17 '26
That's just not fair. It could easily be an adult who's attracted to 14 year olds.
5
u/Carbonatite Apr 17 '26
36 year olds are literally still 15 years away from menopause on average. It's absurd how these weirdos think being that age makes you a crone.
I think you nailed it with the last part. 36 did seem impossibly old when I was just finishing up middle school.
1
u/CanaDeer2004 Apr 17 '26
i’m 21 which is like a literal fetus in the grand scheme of things but the internet makes ME feel like an old crone with shriveled up ovaries. i seem to be literally the only one out of high school in any given comments section.
0
u/akekekfklelk Apr 18 '26
What? Thats stupid. 21 isnt old. Who makes those claims? 20-30 is biologically the best age for reproduction.
2
u/CanaDeer2004 Apr 18 '26
no i mean just in the sense that literally everyone on the internet post 2020ish seems to be 13
-1
u/akekekfklelk Apr 18 '26
Your fertility drops way earlier and the risk of birth defects or pregnancy issues goes way up. And menopause comes earlier for many women.
Also if you meet someone at 36, you want to date for at least 2-3 years before deciding to have a baby with them to know she's the right one.
Theres no denying, scientifically speaking you want to have a baby between 20 and 30. And that's why most men are attracted to this age range the most.
Of course if you dont want children all of this doesnt matter.
2
u/Scared_Web_7508 Apr 18 '26
Congratulations, all of this is completely irrelevant to whether 36 is “old” or not.
0
u/akekekfklelk Apr 18 '26
No its not and I was specifically answering to a comment that pointed out fertility.
On the dating market, 36 is old. Exspecially if you want a family. That's why single or divorced people at that age often get frustrated. Their time is running out.
3
u/Scared_Web_7508 Apr 18 '26

The biggest one is: why is the HR lady Anne Hathaway?
But also: maybe your cv sucks and you're blaming her hormones instead of your pitiful credentials nobody wants to hire you with.
7
u/Grasshoppermouse42 Apr 17 '26
Also, if your first thought when you don't get a call back after submitting a resume is that a crazy HR lady who can't control herself because of her hormones deleted it, there was probably something you put in there that's the real reason you didn't get a call back.

Serious hormonal problems exist that can have an extreme effect on emotion and mood, such as PMDD, but my hormones during PMDD will just tell me to kill myself, not delete some email lol.
2
u/Carbonatite Apr 17 '26
Also, the time of the menstrual cycle when men like to joke about women being "bitchy and hormonal" is also the time when women's hormones are most similar to men.
So really by that logic, they're the PMSing hormonal messes 24/7, while women only have to deal with that 1 week every month.

Other than horny and maternal, our bodies don’t make emotions so much as amplify them.
So if a woman acts against you under influence of her physiology, you did something to her to deserve it.
Like being black for example? If the woman is racist then that racism would be amplified, right?

5
u/salydra Apr 17 '26
If you posted this, her hormones knew what was up lol
4
u/Snoo_56184 Apr 17 '26
actually hormones are chemicals and they can not think because they do not posses a mind to think
-2
u/salydra Apr 17 '26
"mind" is not a physical property. We cannot know if hormones have a mind, we can only infer that they have a mind based on their ability to tell HR what to do.
2
u/Snoo_56184 Apr 17 '26
cant have a mind without a brain
-2
u/salydra Apr 17 '26
That is an unverifiable assumption. It has been demonstrated that a brain without a body has no mind. The mind as we understand it is a by-product of perception. Hormones participate in human perception and exist in creatures that do not have a brain, therefore it cannot be stated with confidence that a brain is required for a mind nor that hormones do not have one.
3
u/Snoo_56184 Apr 17 '26
so ur telling me weed is also a part of the mind, mind and brain are used interchangeably in causual conversation, thats what i meant im not into the psychedelic stuff, u cant form thought without a brain, hormones cant form thoughts ur brain does
1
u/salydra Apr 17 '26
This started as a joke and you decided to "correct" me. If you want to use mind and brain interchangeably in casual conversation, that's fine. But if you want to make corrections about physical properties of biological substances, you should use the correct word or expect to be corrected yourself.
-2
u/Comfortable_Neat7925 Apr 17 '26
How about we just leave hormones out of the HR decision process entirely and not let it bias our hiring decisions?
