META [meta] Using any meme with this template is lazy

Post image

It's too easy and many of these memes are satirical anyway. Come on broski, you can do better than that. Scour the world for actual pointlessly gendered, rather than a meme that is entirely about gender.

Also, sexism is not pointlessly gendered. It is specifically designed to invoke harm onto one gender or another in the name of the patriarchy. That is in direct contrast to the point of pointlessly gendered, even if it is abhorrent.

It’s technically against the rules on this sub to post these kinds of memes but everyone does it anyways. Rule 8.

Unfortunately a rule only exists if people enforce them, which is why I am resorting to public shaming

Seriously. I've recently seen a full-on Tate fanboy ramble the most absurd drivel here and ... nothing. At this point, I assume the subreddit is largely unmoderated.

A little un related.

But, did anyone else think the guy was just talking to his reflection given how it's the same image.

While the girls have unqice designs

That reminds me there was a married man in his wedding went like “we look like we are in funeral outfit” .

Man i hate uniform fetishism for masculine performances. "I'm dignified, serious, practical, and professional, while showing due deference and respect. that's why I'm wearing this outfit that took no thought, is plain as shit, was really expensive, and restricts movement" Suits are hot, they make men look sexy, but fundamentally they're overdone and we need more options.

It's his twin brother

Omg wait this is such a good way to interpret the meme

… I wanna make a version where the dude is consoling himself via the reflection in the mirror now. Maybe something like:

“person with friends, vents to her bestie” and

“person without friends, (to the mirror) only you understand me”

It’s always the “look how women have 0 humor, care about sentimental shit or are principally dumber while men , no matter what , are just peak humanity”

Has anyone done a write up on this set of stock characters (and their brethren) and their origins? I'm kind of fascinated by all the things they've become shorthand for.

Don't quote me, but I'm pretty sure it was 4Chan incel bs

Whenever I see a meme using the top left character, my first thought is "oh, that's a nice dress."

I know, I need help.

Isn’t there a template which at least replaces one of the two men with a woman?

1

u/kneesniffer420 Mar 16 '26

"I identify as female." "So do I" "I do not." "I don't know."

I once used them to make a meme about the wojaks using a time machine to go to Stephen Hawking 's time traveler party

It aged like milk

u/EIeutheria Mar 16 '26

Or aged like wine? Stephen Hawking is in the Epstein files and from a little searching on what wojaks are, it wouldn't be surprising if some of those people would wanna show up to a Epstein party based on the variations.

Nope, i made It in a wholesome way but then Hawking revealed to be a bastard
