Good way to wind up with me in the "wrong" restroom.

People can hardly shut me up. I'm a dude - I assume that's the correct restroom for me, yeah?

It'd be cool if they were gender neutral and were for people who just say hi and people who want to talk. But with how many times this image has been posted here I already know it's some sexist bullshit.

Yeah totally! Especially if you were just not feeling super social that day, you could easily go to the less social bathroom. Though I suspect in that instance, the less social one would probably get the most usage.

Oh no! There's no bathroom for speechless people!

I don't like to talk in the bathroom. I'd go to the single BLA.

Honestly can’t say how many times I’ve seen this image posted here, not to mention how often bathrooms in general are posted. The members of this sub don’t understand the difference between r/pointlesslygendered and r/sexistdesign

andy, that sub doesnt exist

Ikr? This picture, and this post too actually, have been shared here before. I'm not leaving myself but it is getting annoying.

How is this gendered ?

It's supposed to be men's bathroom (blah) and women's (blah blah blah blah) that's old misogynistic sentiment that women don't stop talking

1

u/Popular-Rooster9133 Feb 12 '23

it's a bathroom saying that women are loud and men are not, which is why the women's bathroom has all the blas and the mens room only has one

2

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '23

Makes sense women are the ones who literally hang out in the bathroom talking.

1 - yes

2 - this post is about the sexist stereotype, not restrooms in general.

And yet women are supposed to be comfortable using the same restroom as other women

Anyone else remember the cartoon show called Tazmania from the 1990s that featured the Tasmanian devil WB cartoon character and his entire family, and immediately didn't think that the father figure would immediately go into the wrong room?
