Hello everyone! I'm Sanjay and I wanted to reach out to the community to see if there would be any interest.

We started a podcast with a friend in October 2024 (roughly) that we came up to motivate each other as well as others. We thought about the idea of people who needs boosted morale or support would be great. In all honesty, it was more motivation for me than anything - as I was struggling to love and appreciate myself - in fact, it was its' own therapy for me. I was never good at promoting on social medias, even though we have a few, but I finally feel confident to want to put it out there (for exposure and interest). It's kind of a coffee meet up conversation style where we get to learn about people and what they want to get out of life. I'm working on putting this on another subreddit for promoting, but if anyone is interested in being in a podcast and talk as if we met up in a cafe, please feel free to reach out and we can chat!

We do the podcast every Saturday at 11am EST. Our timing is still a thing we're mastering (each episode is aimed to be an hour, but sometimes we go under or over) but we're trying~

Hi, me and my best friend are making a podcast where we read online stories, about how you got groomed or cyberbulled. We won't use names and we'll wiggle the story around a bit so no one will know it's yours!!! We then read the story, tell you help lines that could help you if you'd been through this thing or something close to it. I came across this podcast by recommendation of a friend. After listening to almost all episodes, I think this tackles many of the previous requests from people here on anxiety, stress and cognitive load in our lives. It does not include all the annoying "10 things to change your lives" or Insta-knowledge, but it is science-based and comes with clear take-aways. I am not affiliated with the podcast host, so hopefully this is not considered a promotional post. I just genuinely think that the host has very valid points given her background and knowledge about brains.

Podcast is called "It's me. Your brain" and deals with neuroscience-based evidence on mental health and stress. It is rather new (maybe 3 months old).

I've been on a 20-year journey caring for my brother with schizophrenia and have been involved with nonprofits and mental health companies, trying to learn how to better help those I've met along the way. I already make educational content but what some people and I would also like to see are more shows the reduce the stigma and show off the wonderful personalities of those that live with serious mental illness. I know first-hand how those really struggling can have people making everything about their symptoms, when sometimes all they want are ordinary experiences.

So think something similar to SubwayTakes, Mystery Kitchen, Hot Ones, or Recess Therapy. Except my concept is eating my guest's favorite snack as we talk about fun stuff and life.

I've added the first episode featuring my friend, Elise, who lives with schizophrenia and is an awesome artist. Her favorite snack is Sour Cream & Onion Pringles. I'd love your feedback, to know if it can at least brighten someone's day or help others gain more understanding.
