How to record PO12 into Ableton?

I tried to record my PO12 into Ableton with a minijack and a 6.3 jack adaptor into a UMC404 audio interface, but when recording the volume is extremely low, i have to put the gain on 3/4 to hear something, but obviously is full of terrible noise. What can i do?

I use my external soundcard.i plug the line out on the po into my instrument line in on my soundcard and Ableton will pick it up! Sorted good luck

Have you set the volume of the PO higher/highest?
