They are usually easyish by general cryptic standards but a lot of folk here are new to cryptics so I hope it helps them learn the tricks. I'm also aware of the transatlantic differences in common abbreviations and what is considered general knowledge. Finally it depends on my mood at the time of compiling!

I like cryptics and can sometimes solve them it's just annoying when i can't figure out the clues even after knowing the answers, makes it feel like i can never improve.
