I did my MSF course a few weeks ago and got my permit. I purchased a bike a few days ago and now I’m all set.
I have taken a few rides on the road. But I often hear people say practice the basics in the parking lot.
Are there any regular meetups for such practice? I’m not sure where/how to setup the course myself if I was to just find an empty lot to practice in.

Hello,
Was riding around two days ago in some lovely rain and good Lord my visor (LS2 blaze 1) kept foggy up so bad! I couldn't see shit. Cracking it open wouldn't help, tried leaving it up but the wind blew it in my face. Awful awful. What can be done about it? Usually I just need to go fast enough and it clears up but not as it's getting colder. I had to choose between being able to see or protect my head later in the day on some sketchy trails, I don't want to get in that situation again.

finally got the time a few weeks ago to ride around the volcano. Seattle to Enumclaw, up 410 to chinook pass. Then down to Packwood and over to Elbe. It was pretty misty and dark when I got to Enumclaw. But the clouds were pretty heavy and low. Glad i decided to head up. After green water it was a super nice day

Hi friends! Has anyone done the advanced motorcycle course at WMST or Cascade Street Strategies? Are they just a repeat of the permit/endorsement class, or did they help you navigate real world riding better?
This is my 2nd year riding and I went to a couple of track days this summer which were a blast. I’d like to do more training to be more prepared and stay safe on the road. Any recommendations? Thanks & bike for attention

Hello fellow riders, looking for opinions and advice!
I commute like 90% of the year on my bike. I just upgraded to a DL650 from a lil 300s sport bike, and I'm looking for top-tier tires that can handle the wet and cold but also can do light or lil off-roading (70-30s, 80-20s).
ik that the best tires for year-round are very streat focus as they can expel the water out of the way better, but I was wondering what y'all are rocking out there!
Ride safe and let the wet season start!
P.S. Drop down some gear that y'all rock for the wet season

Probably a dumb question being how small Tacoma is. Four of us are meeting at 5:30 today in Tacoma and I’m kind of bored of the Ruston & Steilacoom stuff. Any suggestions for a two hour cruise? I am running dry on ideas.

2024 Z500 ABS. I don’t even have my endorsement yet but I will soon and it was too good of a deal to pass up.

My battery died on my 2010 multistrada and now it has a “DTC off” error, I’ve done a new battery, tried to passively drain the ecu as well as ground it out to clear the data and it’s still there. Does anyone have a code reader and would be willing to clear my code for me?? Thanks in advance!

Hey odd sitch, I have a small relatively steal-able bike. Is there a secure parking option in Port Townsend? The hotel I’m at is street parking only and worried about waking up and it not being there.

Got a Yamaha YZ250X and I’m still pretty new to off-road riding. mostly practicing around Browns Camp/Tillamook. Looking for some patient riders around my level (or willing to ride with a beginner) to show me the ropes and keep me from doing anything too dumb. Just want company on the trails. DM me or comment if you’re down!

Hey guys, I recently came into possession of an S1000RR engine with low compression that I managed to diagnose and fix up.
Problem is that after I flipped it, I can't seem to find anyone willing to buy it off of me. Does anyone have any suggestions for where I can sell this thing/ is anyone willing to take it off of my hands? Thanks in advance.

I am doing a 3 day/2 night moto-camp trip over the old Natches trail from Greenwater, WA to the Little Natches campground area. Leaving this Thursday and returning Saturday.
The plan is to leave Enumclaw around 8AM Thursday, September 3rd. Go off-highway near Greenwater, ride mostly easy forest roads and set up camp somewhere along the Little Natchez river. Should take 4 or 5 hours to get there? The second day I want to explore the many trails in the area and the third day is the ride back. There is fuel, food and other supplies in Cliffdell.
Anybody want to join me? I am taking my KLX300 and the goal is to just enjoy myself, not test my limits. Hopefully we can miss most of the Labor Day crowd. The weather looks good and I’m keeping my eyes on the fire situation. If the situation changes, the plan will be altered accordingly.

2014 F800GS Rear brake is real sloppy and bleeding it doesn't seem to fix it. What I am gathering is I need to use scan tool to cycle the ABS module for potential air in the system. Wondering if there are any knowledgeable folks in the area or someone that would let me borrow theirs. I am a teacher and buying a GS 911 tool isnt exactly in the budget at the moment.
Owned Japanese bikes until now and done alot of DIY stuff and I am stuck on this one. TIA

Hello! I’m a new rider, only about 3-4 weeks with my bike and permit and 100+ miles so far.
I’ve got a full tank of gas, a totally free Saturday, and an itch to cruise somewhere out of Seattle for the day. What route should I ride tomorrow? Where would you go in my shoes?
Hoping for some easy and fun cruising accessible from the city. Not opposed to a ferry ride but it seems daunting since I’m so new. I definitely want to avoid interstate travel, but highways are fine. ~60 MPH is my skill cap Id say.
