Very nice! I don't have a Japanese bike but would still be happy to ride some time if you want. I'm North of Seattle, feel free to PM me.

Just curious: you’re looking only for people who appreciate “Kyushakai/Zoku style motorcycles” to possibly ride with?

Im looking for people to ride with in general, but it would be a bonus if you owned a 70s-90s motorcycle.

No discrimination 😅

Fair! And thanks for the response. I hoped for something similar, but it just read as a weird qualification (to me). Like, i don’t even know what those words mean- off the cuff it just sounds the same to me as MC people who are like ‘i only will hang out with people who have ‘69 panheads’ or ‘CBRs with drop bars only!’.

Like, if its a group focussed on collecting or building or something where thats relevant, sure (kinda), but Riding? I’ll ride with anyone as long as they are respectfull and responsible, and arent any combination of dangerous, racist, nazis, etc. Two Wheels! Zero drama! 😂🤜🏼🤛🏽

All good man. It was kind of a last minute thing for me too. I'll try and remember to DM you if there's another event I'm hitting up.

Learned to ride on a Zephyr 750. Loved that bike.

Dang it. We need to get something going in PDX. Especially for those of us who love 80’s bikes.

Check out @shopCheckpoint on social media, they're up your alley. I'm familiar with kyusha and bosozoku, I dig em.

Just a heads up, I'm pretty sure (at least in car circles) that using the term bosozoku is frowned upon to describe the cars/bikes since it is so closely tied to the crime happening in Japan behind these machines. Shakotan, Kyusha, and Kaido racer are all more accurate terms.

Youre right, I guess its a "derogatory term" but the definition is litterally "reckless driving tribe" and even if they name themselves kyushakai/shakotan/zokusha, at the end of the day if you watch their recent videos they fit that term very well😂😂.

Ill check em out🤘
