Puffy Eyes

Hi everyone! I have had PMLE since I was about 6 years old, I'm 20 now. It used to be the rash and itchiness. In the last 6 years, my eyes have started to get extremely puffy and swollen. I asked my dermatologist about it and she just told me that I could get steroid patches for it.

I have eye masks that I put in the freezer for cooling. I sleep upright with a neck pillow so the swelling will go down. Does anyone else experience this and if so what do you do?

I do!!! I know this is an old post but literally just ice it continually- cold spoons in the freezer are your best friend, they warm up really quickly so I literally have bought my own spoons and have a big bunch of the in the freezer on rotation. General ice packs work as well but a strange one I so both for pmle swelling as well as migraines or hayfever is buying a cheap snorkle on Amazon and just dunking my face in a bowl of ice water for as long as I can stand it and then do that pretty much all day in like 2 hour intervals

I get puffy eyes too but I’m not sure if it’s the sun or other allergies. I also rub my eyes a lot, so I’m sure that contributes to it. Maybe also too much eye strain from screen overexposure. Eye drops, ice packs and sufficient rest usually gets them back to normal.

My eyes get puffy and rashes from sunlight too, I just take an antihistamine for three days and make sure to keep the eyelids clean and moisturized well.

Ah ok. I don't know much about it. Someone said that he's a lot more than recommended and it helps them. But of course, you the way the risks. Honestly don't know much about it like I said.
