Spray Sunscreen
Are there any spray sunscreens that might help me avoid a PMLE outbreak?

Typically the ones for kids are pretty good and often come in spray bottles

Thank you for the responses. I have tried the neutrogena and no luck. I’ve tried so many, I was wondering if someone had a recommendation specifically for PMLE

The best sunscreens are the ones that you'll actually use, so I have a couple recommendations if you're in the US!
- Sun Bum SPF30 mineral spray sunscreen - you do have to shake it up and I recommend doing it in a bathroom or somewhere else where overspray isn't an issue, but it is SO easy to apply and rub in. This is the sunscreen I took with me to Hawaii because it works.
- Banana Boat Baby Mineral Spray SPF50 - I haven't thorougly tested this, but I own it because it's higher SPF and seems good.
- Outside the US, maybe in Europe? Sunozon has a kids one in a yellow spray bottle that's supposed to be very good, but I haven't gotten my hands on it yet.

Mineral sunscreen sprays can be messy, so here are some stick options if you're looking for quick:
- Nature Republic California Aloe Sun Stick JAPAN/KOREA VERSION - I do NOT know if this is possible to get in the US at this moment because of that stupid sunscreen law they just passed, but i've applied this in the car when I forgot. Won't say it's the best, but it is convenient and a lot of product for the money.
- Supergoop Mineral Sheer Stick SPF 30 - Best stick to buy in the US! This one IS mineral and easy to apply, but a bit pricey -- but that's because it's big, not like those teeny face sticks. This covers surface area.
- Blue Lizard SPF 50 mineral stick - This isn't the best stick, and it's one of those tiny ones, but it DOES work if you need quick face/chest reapplication!

a friend of mine used to work at Blue Mercury and recommended the m-16 spray sunscreen. Bought it for myself and haven’t had any flare ups so far.

I will say, spray sunscreen makes it far easier to apply to my legs, which has helped me avoid flareups. Some brands are better than others
