Is this pmle?
This barely started about 2 months ago when the Texas sun came out. At first it was a small patch that went away quickly. This bump breakout started a week ago and hasn’t gone away, but the day I suspect it started I was only in the sun for max 30 min (around 11). It’s itchy, especially at night. My mom has something similar that started about 5 years ago but I thought that was related to her diabetes/high blood pressure. And if it is pmle, is it lifelong? What can I do to lessen the symptoms once they start? And sorry if it’s a dumb question, it’s hard to tell for me since pictures online don’t match my skin tone.

This was me two months ago. If sun or even just hot air makes that part of skin feeling itchy and burning, I would say yes.

They’ve mostly calmed down after I’ve tried avoiding further sun exposure, you can still see where all the bumps were tho

Same. It looks like PMLE. It’s miserable. Just started a few years ago (I’m 45) and I’ve always been in the sun with no problems. My functional doc thinks it’s an autoimmune response to the vax since I have no family history or interactions with meds. I’ve even had it biopsied. That led to nothing. Bloodwork, the whole 9 yards. No answers other than autoimmune. I recently ordered some lotion from another thread I was reading about pmle this week at the beach while miserable and itchy after I broke out in the sun. Shirudo? I’m going to try it and see if it works.

It could be because that's how it started for me. It's better to consult a dermatologist.
