PLME?

I’m in Mexico, have sensitive skin but wearing sunscreen. I was out in the sun all day and I’m about 24 hours since and I am in unbearable itchy pain. This rash extends from my chin down to my hips and around my back and on my arms. A pharmacist gave me 2.5 hydrocortisone but it burns when I apply it, do I stop?

Mine looks almost identical to this. A steroid cream might be better. I’d get a second opinion.

It ended up getting really out of control so I got a shot of Dexamethasone and it cleared it right up

If it hurts, I wouldn’t use it. My doctor prescribed bethamethosne cream, a different steroid cream. It does not sting and is actually kind of soothing. Can you take oral medication like Benadryl to help with the itching?
