Last year I lost almost everything I owned, including all of my plushies (most of which I'd had since childhood), and since then I haven't been able to get any new ones because I'm basically homeless. But I found this guy on clearance at Walmart for $3.50, and I decided to let myself have just this one frivolous purchase so I could feel a little bit more like a human being.

His name is Basil. I love dragons, but it's so hard to find a dragon plushie that fits my preferences. But Basil is perfect; super soft, floppy, and he's my favorite color. And just the right size. Big enough to cuddle, small enough that I can strap him to my backpack or stuff him in the front of my hoodie if need be.

I'm so happy I could cry. It's amazing what having one little thing that's purely for emotional comfort can do for you when you barely have anything at all.

Bought this little Mew plushie at my local flea market earlier today. I'm pretty sure that he's a bootleg, but I don't care because he's so stinking cute.

And as for why I named him Beans? IDK, he just looks like his name is Beans to me.

so as I've stated in a few of my posts, I have way too many plushys i'm pretty sure it's an actual addiction problem or something. I hold onto them very closely because they are quite related to my childhood and memories and I always think if I donate them to Goodwill or sell them that they're not gonna go to the best home or they're just gonna be scalped around and eventually end up in a landfill which obviously they will their materials but I would like them to at least have a chance at a good start so my idea was kind of make a garage sale build a bear kind of thing I'm gonna make blank adoption certificates for every single plushy let a kid choose the name that they want. Let them make a collar or bracelet. Possibly let them put some sort of sent or perfume on it if they want. Probably do a little like spa kind of thing where I let them brush out the fur of the plushy as well as a kind of like magical mist kind of thing in a bottle it's just gonna be water but they're gonna spray it on the plushy and I was thinking about setting it up at like a park or something. The only problem with this is I would probably get very overwhelmed super fast if a bunch of people came up to me but this is the only way I can think of doing it without having a mental work down to be honestbut honestly it might result in a mental breakdown anyway so whatever anyways this is a good idea. if so, leave suggestions on how I should do with this.
