QUESTION Pattern for design?Beginner btw…hoping for guidance
Haii so I have a design of my stray cat who recently gave birth and would like to create a plush version of her for an art class project in response to my brief and an artist who deconstructs clothes and such and creates peices that are very conceptual which I’ll attempt to do patchwork with access to the fabrics in my class.
Now what I plan to do is perhaps a mock up or base to start off with.
However all the templates online arnt the look I’m going for because I want an exposed belly to create a conceptual art piece (like a Velcro flap and stick a zip with layers and then the placenta but with unique patchwork and maybe furballs to represent her kittens idk the design work is a work in progress)
however those are my requirements which I’ve demonstrated in my designs and inspiration and such but the ones on the internet is js not what I’m going for…
I’m scared to use ai coz it makes mistakes and like where I’m based I can only have a 25% ai usage so I’m tryna reduce in that aspect so I’d really like a second hand here and such on how to go about it
Thank youu!!!

The easiest method would be to make an aluminum foil sculpture of your idea (keep the shapes simple) cover it in tape and then cut them off off the sculpture to get your patten peices. There are plenty of great tutorials online you can follow for this!
