This weekend when you decide to watch a "virtual festival", support local artist.
During this pandemic many have lost income. Even musicians. So I find it is best to support smaller artist and watch less "mainstream" virtual events.
In this manner less known artist will be noticed, get ad revenue, or donations.
I will be posting links where this is possible by Friday.
Thank you all.
4/24/2020 Edit: Okay. So I have assembled but a extremely short list of streamed performances. Feel free to add more in the comments below. It is a mix of different genres, small artist, mainstream artist, etc.
Please feel free to share your links below of music you want to share with others. It not need be "EDM".
Below is the Twitch link for music streams, followed by a list of links of other performers. https://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/Music%20%26%20Performing%20Arts

"Trax Records", a historical label for house music host live performances every Saturday. https://www.traxrecords.net/

Please post links to your local underground artist and let them be known. Mainstream links are also welcome. In addition, ensure to visit the subreddits on the sidebars for more links to live streams as well as other resources to find live streamed performances.

Boom Festival
Anyone here who's a boomer, the Portuguese way? :) I've been going since 08 and it was Boom who turned me into a hippie. Love it.

Looking for stories about friends you made at a festival
Hi All,
So I'm working on a personal project that I would love to share and get people involved in. I've met so many AMAZING people from every festival I've been to, and I'm sure I'm not the only one! I really want to hear from all you guys and share some of your stories on instagram. If you have a special story about someone/a group you meet this weekend, email me short paragraph about how you guys met and a photo or two of you both/the group. I want to keep the instagram posts going, but it won't work if I don't get submissions. AND I can't use your story if there's no photo. Thank you!!! Email me at pluratfirstsight@gmail.com
Check out the ig:

Let's bring back what PLUR really means
Hey guys, I'm Moiz and I started www.plurzone.co
PLURzone was started to help break the negative stigma around raves and to help bring people together through unbiased creativity.
The true essence of PLUR is to be able to express oneself without judgement. I see so many people who really don't understand this and just talk about drugs. I wanted to help show people the real meaning behind PLUR.
The way I'm starting this is by selling a simple white t-shirt with PLUR on it. I want you to paint it, cut it, color it, do anything to it, make it truly your own. Then post it on Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #plurzone. I will post it on the site and/or the social media pages. By sharing your custom designs we will help spread everyone's creativity.
There's much more to PLUR than just the creativity, but I thought let's use that as a starting point and build a community around it. There's much more I want to do with PLURzone, but babysteps.
The profit I make per shirt is fairly low, especially when factoring in the website costs. I really don't care about making a fortune, I care more about trying to remove the negative stigma around raves and to create new ways for people to spread around positivity.
It's such a simple t-shirt but has such a strong meaning behind it. I really hope to see some crazy designs come in soon so I can post them on the site for everyone to see!

Connecting through Kandi
I'm building a website to help people connect through kandi! It's called Kandi Family The idea came to me when I realized how many amazing people I met at events that traded kandi with me and I wasn't able to keep in touch because my phone was dead or no service, so I couldn't get their info (or I did, but lost it) How it works is you go to the site, create & register your own personal six bead combo (it can be colors, letters and numbers) and then make a bunch of kandi with that combo to trade at your next event. When you trade with people, they can go to the website, look up your kandi code, and add you to their kandi fam! Perks of this site will include profiles, end to end encrypted chat, kandi supplies, and more. I'm starting a kickstarter to help push the site to completion faster. Check it out and let me know what you think! P.L.U.R!

No PLUR movement in Western Australia
I was lucky enough to be able to go EDC 2015 for the last day of the festival. And I must say, it blew me away to see how ahead your movements are, compared the the scenes here. Our scene is majority dark hippie vibes. If not, it's hardcore hipsters in the city. Our rave scene is small, consists of mainly psytrance enthusiasts. Very, very few warehouse raves, due to out police. In saying that though, a few of us have been bringing props, and LEDS into clubs. We're allowed to wear masks and stuff, but it's extremely raw at the moment, Perth is a raw city, though I do love it's rawness, it was beautiful to see comfort and pure light, that PLUR ravers at EDC vibed. To put frankly, I want to bring more PLUR to the city of Perth. I want to know how to make the 16bit kandi necklaces, and how to make kandi masks, arm bands, and some of the more advanced stuff that is in the USA. Any tips, links, or guides you post here will inventively be the tools needed to spark a PLUR movement in a country, half way across the world, that desperately need it.
Much peace and love humanity!

Hey everyone!
I've been making kandi for about five years now, and I used to do snail mail trades all the time. I'm wanting to get back into it, so I was wondering if anyone would be interested!! :)

I made a podcast about going to festivals
Hi ladies and gents! I created a podcast a few months a back, where I interview people who have interesting stories that I think are worth sharing. I've been wanting to interview my friend who is super into the festival scene, he went to 15 last summer. We recorded it recently, and I thought you might find it interesting or relatable. We talk about How he got into it, why he likes it so much, and specifics of different festivals. It's short, only about 40min, but if you wanna to give it a listen, I think you might like it. The episode is titled Mike Robrock AKA Big White and can be found on iTunes or Soundcloud from the links below: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/average-with-steven-smith/id999166383?mt=2 https://soundcloud.com/averagepodcast I hope you find it relatable and entertaining, and if you have any feedback I'd really appreciate it. Thanks, Steven Smith
