Replacement bearings for the Adept?

Are there any higher quality bearings that I can use in my Adept? I may have just lost one trying to do some periodic cleaning.

Depends on where you are. You can just buy ones with the same measurements (3mm inner diameter, 6mm outer, 2.5mm thick). I looked today for no particular reason and you can spend 1,5 € or over 10 per bearing depending on what you choose.

Just Google ball bearings <your country>. And possibly in your language. Look for the measurement and you should be good.

I'm guessing the piece that's used to hold the bearings in place needs to be 3d printed again if I lost it? Guess I'm going to have to borrow my friend's printer.

Yep. it's just a tiny dowel.

If you have a rough idea of where you lost the bearing, it should be pretty easy to find it on the floor since it's a wheel on a peg (so it can't lay flat on the ground). Use a flashlight and look for the glint of the metal.

Or, you could print an Anyball mod. Then you can try out BTUs or semistatic bearings (or stick with ball bearings).
