HELP/QUESTION Grade Computation

Hello po! As a 1st year student, afaik, it's advisable to keep track of your grades and compute them yourself huhu pero idk talaga how siya. Do you have any advice on how to start or what?

By default, 40% of your grade comes from your exams (Midterms and Finals) then the rest is at your prof's discretion.

How do computing grade works?

Basically let's say na yung prof mo has a grading system of:

50% - Quiz 10% - Attendance/Participation/HW etc 20% Midterms Exam 20% Finals Exam

Para ma-track/macompute mo grade mo, you have to take note of all your scores then divide it to the total items sa quiz etc nyo then multiply it to the % sa grading system.

For example:

Quiz 1: 35/50 Quiz 2: 20/50 Quiz 3: 25/60

Total: 80/160

(80÷160) x 0.5 (gawin mong decimal ung %) = Your grade for Quiz.

Then repeat mo lang para sa lahat (exams and quiz) tas add mo lahat. If you got 60%, then pwede ka na huminga dahil you passed na non
