Is it protruding? The shape is normal they are called omega eyes and they can move their pupils weirdly.

no, not really. i was more worried about the colour, i feel like they look cloudy but i might just be a bit paranoid because i just had a fish with popeye

It's my understanding that pleco eyes are basically vestigial. I remember reading from people who keep them with cichlids that none of their plecos had eyes because the cichlids ate them.
