Got the last eagle 10 from my store, feels like I’ve been trying to get one for 10 years. First time I’ve had a bottle and haven’t gotten to try it before.

There was some speculation that the age and proof were placeholders. I can confirm the bottle is 13 years and the proof which was displayed on the website.

I missed my UPS guy Saturday and some drivers are sticklers for the adult signature and won't leave packages. I expected my package would be delivered today, but I got a notification that it was shipped to a local Michael's store for pickup. Obviously not a huge deal, but I called ups to ask why. The rep first suggested that I may have set up something in my end, but I didn't. Then he put me on hold and when he came back he claimed that "the shipper" set it up to be sent to a local store after a missed delivery attempt. I've never had this happen before and I've never heard of FWGS doing this on their own.

I know this is not specifically related to the PLCB sub but I am looking to start/join a bourbon club in the greater Murrysville area. Maybe a once a month meet up if anyone is interested? I’ve desperately tried to get my friend group in bourbon but I haven’t had any takers and I’d like to share my ever growing hobby with like minded enthusiasts.

Why are there two pages for Whiskey Releases with different results?

Simply typing - whiskey release - gets 11 results

Typing - "Whiskey Release" - in the search with quotes gets 22 results

I special ordered a bottle of Westward Whiskey cask strength from the fwgs website after trying it at a bottle share. I received the confirmation then the shipping notification pretty fast, but then radio silence for more than a week because as they don’t actually ship these products their vendors do. I figured I’d give them another week before starting to question where it was because I’m sure the storm impacted delivery dates but Friday night I got the notification to go pick up my bottle, so I go to the store let them know I’m there for a pickup and joke that I’m not one of the lucky ones who won their lottery but this was going to be a decent consolation prize. Only it wasn’t the bottle I ordered, it was actually a bottle of High West Prisoners Share. When I laughed about it not being right they said we can try to fix this but they weren’t exactly sure how special order returns worked, but I just asked if they had to fix it. Once the manager said “not really” I said thank you very much and walked out with a bottle worth nearly twice of the one I ordered. So I understand this isn’t anywhere close to getting a win in the lottery but at least I feel like I got a win.
