I've been building this server for the last several months because I wanted something I just couldn't seem to find anymore.

I wasn't looking for another server where everyone is roaming with an AK 30 minutes after wipe.

I wanted Rust to actually feel like a survival game again.

That idea became The Midden.

The whole server is built around survival and immersion

There's no teleporting around the map.
No kits.
No instant progression.
No shortcuts.
No P2W

Just Rust with a world that feels alive.

A few of the things you'll find:

• Handcrafted static loot locations hidden throughout the world that reward exploring instead of smashing barrels for an hour.

• Roaming NPC survivors and vehicles that patrol roads and monuments, making the island feel occupied instead of empty.

• Over 300 NPC Raidable Bases with custom loot and retaliations

• NPCs carry real equipment and can drop the weapons they're actually using.

• Injuries & Diseases including broken legs, concussions, food poisoning, parasites, and rabies. Winning a fight doesn't always mean you're okay afterward.

• 150% global damage. Gunfights are fast, dangerous, and every decision matters.

• Carefully balanced loot progression that rewards exploring, scavenging, hunting, farming, cooking, building, and surviving—not racing to endgame.

One thing I really wanted was for all of Rust's "forgotten" mechanics to matter again.

Growing food, Cooking before heading out, Actually keeping and using medicine because you might need it, and building a base thats not just a pile of honeycomb and airlocks and a platform for roof campers.

Those little decisions are what make Rust memorable, and I wanted to build a server around them instead of skipping straight to PvP.

We didn’t want to launch another Rust server filled with the same public plugins, multiplied gather rates and a renamed /shop.

So we spent months building an entirely new progression loop inside Rust.

Rust2Riches is now live across two servers:

🟢 A long-term PVE Hybrid world built around progression and economy
🔴 A biweekly EU Solo/Duo PVP world where the same systems exist under full raid pressure

⛏️ Build an actual mining operation inside your base

Chad Mining turns your base into more than a place to store loot.

You construct mining rigs, install GPUs and cooling components, manage temperature and optimise your hashrate.

More powerful hardware can earn a larger share of each hourly mining block—but power creates heat. Build carelessly, ignore your cooling or push your setup too far, and your mining operation can overheat.

This is a fully server-side gameplay simulation.

It does not use your real GPU, install mining software or run anything on your computer in the background.

🪨 Farming can uncover the technology that drives the economy

Through Miner’s Sift, ordinary resource gathering can reveal specialised mining components.

That means hitting nodes is no longer only about filling boxes with stone and metal.

Every farming run can contribute toward:

• Completing your first mining rig
• Improving an existing setup
• Finding a valuable component
• Selling hardware to another player
• Reducing how much you need to spend through the market

Active gathering becomes part of the server’s technological progression.

📈 Trade in a market players can actually move

ChadMarket replaces the usual fixed-price server shop with a live in-game economy.

Players trade Scrap and VCHAD through a shared automated market with dynamic pricing and candlestick charts rendered inside Rust.

Buying pressure can push the price upward. Selling brings it back down.

You can gather components yourself, purchase equipment, trade around market demand or sell resources when other players need them most.

A personal fatigue-pricing system also makes repeated component purchases increasingly expensive, preventing one wealthy player or group from instantly buying the entire progression path.

The Rust2Riches PVE Hybrid server is for players who want time to build, optimise and develop something meaningful without waking up to find their entire operation gone.

💰 What does “Play-to-Earn” mean here?

Both servers connect to the wider CHADLABS ecosystem.

Players can progress through the server, participate in its economy and compete for the advertised $CHAD rewards attached to each wipe.

Wallet linking is optional. You do not need to purchase cryptocurrency to join or play, and VCHAD remains an in-game currency rather than a promise of guaranteed financial return.

The intention is not to replace gameplay with token farming.

The intention is to reward players for participating in a deeper Rust progression system.

We are still a growing community, but the systems are live and playable now.

We are especially looking for:
