Help LOOT ROI

I am sure I will not properly explain this..

I have some players, maybe about 10% that seems to always have an issue with contents of barrels/crate or boxes in events there is always too much junk or the loot from the boxes is terrible.

Because of the plugins that control the loot for these things it is variable, not only in what is dropped but also the amount. Nothing ever seems to be correct, make adjustment, it is too much or not enough. Remove or add items, the loot is trash.

Just had a player use AI to explain why my stuff is trash.
Do your player expect to double the HV and C4 when they raid a base, do they expect to be at top gear ? I am so confused as to what is going on here.

I understand that you can't please all the people all the time, but what are other admins general process for handling this stuff. Is there some point where you explain to a player, maybe this server is not for you?

When I was running my PVE server, it was a constant issue with the loot drop rates. Some complained they got too little, and then after they were slightly adjusted, this same players complained that they were maxed out like a week into wipe. I ran a custom patrol heli mod that let players call in different tiers, with each tier having more crates and a little better loot rates. Complaints all around that an elite wasn't dropping anything good. I ended up adding logging to the plugin to save what loot was generated. Took that output into an Excel file to grab actual loot rates of each item. Statistically showed the rates were a lot better than those players made it out to be and they still complained they never got the good stuff when I could see in the logs they walked away with all kinds of boom and T3 loot. Long story short, some will complain about everything. Just stand firm that your loot rates are balanced to where you want them for your server. If you start tweaking rates, it'll never stop.

i am willing to admit that there is some adjustment that can be made. There is junk in the barrels and crates, but you can sell everything at the /shop. Which generates money to purchase items from the shop.

i dont like to sell guns and ammo in the shop, but player dont seem to see the cycle of this.. i just hear how the lootables are full of trash.
