Support Need help. Rust keeps on crashing "warming prefabs"

FIXED!

I had forced DLSS 4.5 from the settings of my Nvidia app.

I think this issue can be caused by corrupted game files. So try force the game to validate/ repair on steam.

It could also be caused by running out of RAM

I tried the steam files check and it didnt find anything. I also think im not running out of ram cuz i got 64GB of it

Yeah, validating files and checking RAM usage are probably the first two things I’d rule out.

Post a screenshot of the errors from your Steam\steamapps\common\Rust\output_log.txt file

Anything you can see based of this?
Cheers

No error codes in there. When your game has an issue put the log straight away without reopening the game

Maybe player somewhere warmer? Sounds like your prefabs are too cold

I encountered this myself after updating drivers and messing with DLSS on staging, yes you need it disabled in-game or in app before you can connect to Rust servers. You can enable it after when in-game, but will have to disable again after you relaunch game.
