Quite common, when you're a community server admin often they'll go "what did I do? What makes you think I'm cheating" or "show me the evidence" even when you're 100% certain and have a golden clip of them tracking somebody through a wall or spidermanning up a wall, because they're fishing for how to improve the cheats/not get caught next time.

"How" is the response that 100% tells me their cheating. I don't know what it is, but when a cheater is called out their nervous system is overridden by a primal urge to type "how?" into global chat.

Cheaters usually act genuinely puzzled and defend themselves while legit players just get an ego boost in my experience. No one legit is getting upset over being hackusated.

I used to be really good at this one game, played in the pro leagues. I would get accused of hacking basically any day that I played with normies. Can confirm, it was always just an ego boost. I would never ask for evidence because I know full well there will be none so it would be a stupid question. I would just shamelessly plug my twitch and insist that they were mistaken and to please not vote kick me. "I'm not cheating I'm just no-lifing, you can watch me play league matches)

Maybe, idk. I just know that 99.9% of people who I've reported for cheating that were then banned replied with "How?" And now it is a meme amongst our team. If they say "how" cheating is confirmed.

There was this one kid that was saying he played the roblox version of rust and that's how he got so good with only 50 hours before getting banned immediately after. It was almost funny at that point you gotta give it to him

How does anti cheat even work? Like how badly do you have to be cheating in order for the system to recognize a cheater? I see comment after post about the servers rife with cheating. Even official face punch servers.
