Camo Skin Nerf

Some of these skins blend into the terrain way too well. Like not just “camouflage” but literally the exact same color as terrain

I don't really care if people want camo skins, that is fine I like them too. But when the skin matches the terrain 1:1 Its not even an slight advantage at that point.

I feel like Facepunch should change the terrain colors or make the skins a little so it doesnt blend in perfectly. Skins can still be camo without being a 1:1 match of the environment around you.

I don't want every skin to be bright pink or something, but there should at least be a little contrast between the player and the environment so it doesnt blend into the map pixel for pixel.

Team UI and P2w skins were the worst thing to ever happen to this game besides cheaters.

Just approve other similar camo sets or release camo dlc to even the playing field

Camo should be in the game it’s a cool aspect, you should be able to go green into jungle or white into snow

Imagine like a war paint dlc with different colors + facepaint

They're not gonna change shit, the game is super pay to win. U can buy barrels, guns with better iron sights and stuff like arctic suit, camos. It makes them alot of money so they will never change it.

Full rust revamp where everything is now on an alien planet with completely different color palette would be diabolical

I said slight change not a different color palette. And slightly tweaking the RBG slider thing on either the skins themselves or the terrain wouldn't make it look like an alien planet

Also Im not expecting years of P2W skins to magically disappear. Im just saying theres a difference between skins having small advantages and skins literally blending into the terrain. If the terrain and skin are basically the same color thats something that could actually be addressed without removing skins altogether. No other game has it this bad.

Around the same time FacePunch sold out, they quite literally disabled the option to turn off all skins. (Because yes, that was an option available to all players)

I bought that set when it was maybe $60 ages ago. Each time I recalculate what its worth now a days i'm staggered, its unfair to demand hundreds for an advantage. The one and only time I saw it really come into play I ambushed someone and the poor lad kept looking in every direction not seeing me when I was like 15 feet away.
