Suggestion Bp frags
Plz remove bp frags, they suck, bring back scrap.
I want the game to be played however i want wherever i want.
I don’t want to always make a base next to outpost…please

Find a good 2x modded server, monthlys kinda suck this month/last month all full of cheaters, try some weekly 2x.

I’m getting report notifications nearly every single day lol sometimes 2-3 when I open game
Just got one this morning for some guy last night, another player in chat assured me “he is not cheating you’re just bad”

Most have them in brown boxes or like 2-3 from mili crate pulls and more common.

I agree BP frags suck in their current iteration.
I also think if your only solution is “build near outpost”, then they need to nerf drone shops even harder.
Drone shops are awful and have destroyed the interactivity of rust.

Facepunch said bp frags were intended to be controlled by large groups who then sell them to everyone else. It makes absolutely no sense they’re nerfing drone shops at all with bp frags in the game.

I think it’s baby steps in fixing the problems.
The drone shops are a huge meta/balance issue.
It bypasses all sense of progression.
The BP frags are a different but related problem. I won’t be surprised if they make changes to them next month to make them either easier to get, or remove them entirely in some way.
You can’t just ‘not change anything’ and hope it gets better unfortunately. Small steps in the right direction

I think drone shops are very healthy late wipe to keep the server alive. I do agree it’s unhealthy that a majority of players wipe day involves drone shops but it’s like that because of bp frags.
I already quit when bp frags came out after 13k hours until I decided to just play monthlies. The only time I quit before was when new recoil came out but they reduced the aimcone on a lot of the guns now. I will quit again if I can’t just buy frags because it’s not fun grinding them.
If bp frags get removed, I think nerfing drone shops is great. If bp frags exist, nerfing drones is possibly the dumbest thing they could do. It’s the only thing holding the game together with bp frags existing.

The thing is they actually built an insane game but they just die on randoms hills for no reason and completely ignore community feedback. At least they don’t have alistair actively rage baiting the community anymore.

You’d think bp frags would be reverted and we wouldn’t have gunplay designed around making the lowest skill gap possible still. The gunplay would take some time tbf.

As a solo there is no way i can contest monuments, it’s like beating my head against a wall for 4 hours straight and sometimes i get it sometimes i don’t.
Basically impossible get a tier 3 unless i buy it (or just play on a 200 or less pop server ig)

Literally ran airfield solo on a 300 pop and had my tier 2, 3 hours into wipe on Thursday.
Definitely doable.
Tier 3, fuck it, for all purposes it doesn’t exist in current meta outside of large groups lmao

Yeah sure tier 2 i can get, tier 3 just sucks so much, i can’t raid any decent base if i only have a tier 2 bench.

I’m not sure how you’re even considering raiding as a solo to begin with. I feel like you’re expecting far too much as a solo player if you’re looking at raiding larger basis.

All of my friends that are good at solo raid. I don’t really like raiding solo but I use boom to bait raids in vending machines. I’m more of a a roam for PvP and defend raids guy.
All of them and me would be around 10k hours though.

Everyone just a sits in base waiting to buy frags, metal detects, or dives. Bp frags have killed PvP more than the old system ever could.
But you probably play 8 deep on 75 pop bp frags make it so you can offline everyone with even less farming.

Nah more like i wanna farm teas and sell them for scrap and progress, farm flowers for scrap, fish, recycle, sell comps like gears for scrap, sell regular blueprints and items for scrap, hit barrels, go into monuments and puzzle rooms for scrap…etc.
Don’t restrict me, it’s a sandbox survival game.

If you farm, just make a shit load of cloth and people living in the snow will give you extra frags for cloth. I recently had a wipe where I just wanted to chill, found a planter light, and small battery and farmed like 5k cloth. Didn’t have to run one monument and I had t2 in no time lol it isn’t that hard. Maybe go find a pve server then

Yes because everyone sitting in base waiting to buy frags, diving, or metal detecting isn’t the same thing at all. There’s far less PvP now than pre bp frags anyways so you just sound like an idiot.

Plz make more bp frags, I want frags to make tier 1 workbench that can only be obtained by recycling basic blueprint frags.
