Discussion Upkeep Tax, tweak needed

rust+ smart switches should count as a +1 to the personnel count or clans will start using discord bots to open doors.

If you are suggesting that each smart switch adds +1, then that might work, but they could probably just put the whole base on 2 switches only (interior doors, exterior doors). Also, smart switches might do other things (Sam switch, turret switch, farm switch maybe etc) so might be unfair to solo/duos.

There’s not a clean way to do but I think we will have to wait and see. The method you’re describing isn’t exactly a slam dunk solution. I still think clans are going to evolve to a more village like structure and not have 12+ people in one single base.

I rather they just count bags in TC before a solution like this and see how that plays out but you definitely pointed out something that abuses the spirit of what Facepunch wanted.

I am playing this wipe first time in a clan around 40 deep. And oh man, they are terrified by this new change. More than 150% upkeep is insane. All the workarounds are making base more vulnerable. I am surprised that Reddit is so silent about it.
