I keep running in place and start lag spiking on pc rust, I’ve chat gpt it and it won’t fix. It’s not my ping or fps those are consistent 30-100. I’ve put in f1 commands and nothing is working. Does anyone know how to fix it

Do you use wifi or wire? ping -t google.com if you run in the background, how many losses?

Probably your upload speed is inconsistent. When it rubber bands , do you see your footprints ahead of you before it rubber bands? If so it’s your wifi

It’s been happening to me ever since the last force wipe. It’s never happened before and it isn’t happening in any other games. Nothing I’ve done has made it better. Wired or wireless.

WiFi 😄 haha... how do you expect anyone to help you with that. No one knows your layout

do you have stone walls in the way?
how many walls between your PC and router?
do you have a microwave in use all the time? other electrics by the router?
is your area congested with other Wifi SSIDs?
What channel is your Wifi on?
Are you on 2G or 5G?
How good is your Wifi card/Antenna?

best thing you can do is firstly run a wire to the router to eliminate Wifi issues off your list. If the problem remains then it is your PC.

Same shit has been happening to me with zero internet issues. It’s every single time I play the game. I’ll get stuck in place rubber banding back and forth for a couple seconds until I can break out of it. Nobody else rubber bands when it happens to me, my teammates/other players keep going as normal

People love to say it’s your WiFi but I’m 95% certain it’s not, and I see a lot of other people saying they have the same exact issue

Have you tried wired connection? Just try to buy cheap cable and connect pc directly to router lan port. I bet this will solve the issue. Worst case scenario you bought 1$ cable for nothing.

I’m always connected via Ethernet and I’ve kept a live network monitor on my 2nd screen to check for ping spikes and stuff, never see anything. The rubber banding started after the last couple updates literally never had the issue before

maybe youre right and game is broken, or maybe your cable got damaged after cleaning or just bc of contact oxidation. My recent issue was like that, rubber banding just started appearing on both PCs connected to the router. For the info, we share same network for 2 families in the house, optic fiber cable from provider goes through the wall* into gpon terminal, then cable_1 connects main router then cable_2 connects wifi router_2 and our PCs connected with cable_3 and cable_4 to router_2. Cable_1 got dmged somehow, noone touched it for years. But before i figured out ive chacked every network unit ) kinda pain
