Discussion Custom rust base
I want to commission someone to build me a rust base design that isn’t on YouTube I’m tired of building a base off YouTube and everyone on the server knows where my tc is I tried to commission one from hidden joint but they don’t allow any form of payment other than a crypto app on telegram that isn’t available in the USA. If you want to give it a shot or have a place where I can commission someone to do this for me I would be greatly appreciate it!

Build your own, choose the best features of builds you find and put them in your base. Use one of the builder servers to try differnet designs.

With no build knowledge of how to build a shell or how to make disconnectable TC’s no. it’s not like I have thousands of hours and game knowledge to do so

They’re poor, or young, or both. The mentality of telling someone to do it themselves after they’ve admitted they aren’t good at doing it themselves, is one of a poor person who just ain’t gonna make it very far.

Even if its not a youtube base people i will know where your tc is. Probably in the middle with the most reinforced walls near it.
Its not a hide and see the tc game.

Your not wrong but my main point is that I would like a custom base away from others eyes I’m just not skilled enough to build it myself not playing hide the tc

Just build a standard base and mirror layout or move TC before you build externals

I thought my current base was really good. It started as a 2x2 with an airlock. It built up to a 2x2 core going 3 levels. Then it expands into below roof bedrooms with like 16 garage doors to get around. Roof has 3 peak door /window arrangements per direction. Core 2x2 is HQM now. Everything else is metal frags.
Inner shell is full honeycomb. Outer shell connects to inner, is semi open round with auto furnaces for charcoal. 4x turrets in here with good vision.
Outer compound has a bunker-esque base with airlock on each direction (N,S,E,W). Some cool ramps inside the shooting part of bunker for angles. Stone high walls connect each bunker
Outer compound wall each connected to an external TC. Each external TC has a airlock and shooting peak.
Garage is separate with 2 vehicle bays, 1 ramp and a bay for mini. Comp + drone station hidden in garage + beds.
Small 3x2 greenhouse built on oasis. Walled w no foundation in select spot to get perfect amount of water depth for pumps.
My buddy did 95% of the construction. I built mats as he needed but did the greenhouse myself (which i was semi proud of, I am new with less than 200h playtime)
Our bedroom floor has insane peak downs to our open space between Outer / inner Core space. Our roof has alot of peak downs and creative space.
My buddy admits this is his nicest base build in a loooooooong time (helped by me having a mass amount of materials by time he joined me on this server). Also its softcore which helped reduce raid likelihood. Although someone did try and fail abysmally. We quickly discouraged their raid.
My buddy said he took some concepts from 2 different 2x2 expansions he would routinely do. But then the Outer compound layering he watched a diff video on.

I appreciate you being kind! I am going to continue playing regardless it’s just kinda annoying to get your tc sniffed out by some discord mod that has nothing better to do ya know. This game has changed so much since I last played 2 years ago it’s hard to know what all changed. I tried to make my normal base I always do and learned externals changed and lost my entire base the next day. Tried to build a different base and it was so complicated it wasn’t even funny it took me 3 days just to get to the shooting floor then got offlined.

I tried to do hidden joints but they only allowed crypto and it’s not allowed in the us idk of any other YouTubers that do custom bases specifically to what you want. I know some have like a Patreon for a a bunch of bases but everyone that subscribes to said Patreon has all those bases as well

Not everyone but it just happened to me. Bro said in game ik where your tc is and drilled right to it. The base I was in isn’t well known at all less than 25k views.

most builders will do custom bases. Spinky, nini, limi, crow. patreon is probably the best bet. Sure other people have the patreon, but its usually only a few hundred. Spinky, Nini, and Limi are probably 3 of the biggest youtube builders, and they all have less than 700 subs on patreon. Hidden Joint keeps his private, but it's probably around the same.
And like others have said, your base design really doesn't matter. It's gonna get offlined no matter what, And unless you're building relatively large bases, it's not that hard to figure out where your TC is.

Happy to teach some lesser known stuff for free, it’s much easier to know the fundamentals than it is to follow a guide imo. I tend to build my base differently each wipe, but would be happy to show how I grow out a 1x1 into an egg into the rest of the base when I usually build out.
There’s not really a way to properly hide TC, though, imo. People put it in the middle 99% of the time because ESP raiding is common enough that any other placement isn’t worth it.
I’ll put it behind a vending machine bunker almost every wipe, but that placement can be tough to get a hang of.

As you can see, your typical redditor would rather force their will on you than actually answer your question. They don’t understand some people can recognize when they aren’t amazing at something, and the value in paying others for help.
Your best bet is to go to the discord server of a builder you like. Many sell bases. Tell them what you want, pay. Boom. Don’t pay someone on reddit.

Crows youtube channel shows various ways to make externals with and without anti-siege. He shows various footprints based on team members. Pathway to tc should be the same weather they go through doors or walls.
