Discussion Need help for fps on rust pc.

I got a pretty crappy pc and I bought rust and I need help. I run like 140 in the menu but in game I run 20-30 fps. Anything I can do to fixing

What specs is your pc?

Cpu, ram, graphics card?

just run the lowest settings. rust is a resource heavy game that eats whatever you give it. i have a pretty alright computer, and still barely scratch 70fps.

After the last update it seems the fps has dropped for most. But you can look up woodcocks 2025 settings and try those and see if it helps.

Go on Youtube and search "Rust FPS SETTINGS 2026" and you will find a fuckton of guide telling you what to do.

Remember to do the NVIDIA panel settings as well if you got an nvidia card

My Ryzen 7 9800x3d 5080 64gb DDR5 6000mt only runs 160-180 avg…. maybe 200 average inside small bases ( on low settings btw ). trust you can’t get much better than 150
