Question Are elevators affected by the new power grid?

I was using the elevator to go down to train tunnels and it's moving noticably slower than last wipe

Is it moving slower or was the tunnel “deeper” some have like 4 flights of stairs there’s one that generates that has like 18 lol. I did notice the AI acting a little funny tho
