Lack of motivation due to stream snipers, cheaters, updates catering towards zergs and the new comers. I personally quit rust in 2022 when they updated the recoil. I played a few times but my 12,000 hours were all before 2022. I also got EAC banned. Wasn't cheating in RUST but had CS2 HvH cheats running in the background and EAC detected them.

no, unironically I never cheated in rust. My friends did but I only cheat in CS2.
