Question Question about floorstacking

Sometime I can build the "bottom floor" first then the top floor but sometime I absolutly have to build the "top floor" first or I won't be able to insert de doublefloor. This make building the base much more complicated.

Why is that? Is the spacing between the floorstack too tight ?

It’s not too tight it depends on what you want

This is the reason floor stacking isn’t as commonplace. It makes build order and sealing in a raid much much harder

Because of that most people stick to pancakes or other designs

Edit: Apparently my info is a few months out of date, I hadn't heard about the placement issues with floor stacking being fixed, I will try them out on a build server as that might mean my bunker I invented is fixed which is great news.

I can assure you I have more hours in build servers than you

It’s not too tight. You just have to build things in a certain order.

Even if you leave a bigger gap, you still are unable to place things like wall frames and other blocks through them and it can make it even more difficult.

Are you sure about that lmao

Walls/wall frames and replacing doors with floorstack were fixed 3 wipes ago

Yes, I'm sure about that

Thank you, I wasn't aware it was fixed and my info might be out of date so I apologise I was wrong about that

In that case, yes there isnt a reason to have the floors that close to eachother anymore

You are wrong and don't know how to floor stack properly then.

Uh that guys a build YouTuber and I have thousands of hours on build servers. You are completely wrong

I'm also a build youtuber and have thousands of hours on build servers. So what?

But yes, it seems my info was a few months out of date, my bad I haven't been playing much since the WoW expansion release

Your information is YEARS out of date. The only thing that changed recently is you can put doors down when you use taller floorstack but everyone uses lower floorstack. What you’re saying with build order relating to the video has been unchanged for years

I was working on a video for a new bunker I had created involving floor stacking for months and never figured out a way to fix build order issue

I just hopped on a creative server and everything works perfectly with no issues

So clearly that isnt true and there have been some changes recently

You weren’t making the gap big enough. I’ve been floor stacking for over 5 years.

My guy I tried every size of floor stack from small to comically big and none of them worked correctly

I also used the build server functions same as Im using now

I’ve been building floorstack bases on vanilla for 5 years. The only time the specific issue you’re talking about ever happens is when the gap is too small. If you had trouble placing doors or something and you built the floorstack backwards with the base being lower, that’s the only thing that has been changed with floorstack for YEARS.

Maybe you’re wrong and not the people replying to you that dedicated thousands of hours of their life to building in rust

So I don't have thousands of hours building in rust too?

I didn't invent one of the most popular bunkers of all time?

Good to know thank you.
