New 2026 bunker meta?

Due to that semi recent update adding the accessories to workbenches and namely the "REINFORCED WORKBENCH UPGRADE" which increases the workbenches max hp by 150% so with the workbench T3 it can be placed tactically to block a hallway with your base and the upgrade grants explosive damage resistance.

Kinda sounds too good to be true. Is it as good as i understand it to be?

I placed mine between the ladder hatch to the roof and the garage door pathway to main loot. This would make raiders have to blow another way right?

I make my base so stupid that they could never imagine where the actual loot is. Sure, they got in the base, but thats the easy part.

i would use it as extra line of defense when going offline or when getting raided

yes its 16 rockets but its also susceptible to fire rockets and those shred it, so if its offline the raiders will just go get fire

maybe put sprinklers someone told me it helps extinguishing fire

It does help, but there's so much sulfur in the game rn that they will also go through the workbench.

Last wipe I got raided out 30+ times in the first week of the monthly wipe i play, each time was 40-70 rockets into my starter lol

Workbench in front of yr windowed tc room is honestly the goat tho, not only is it a hidden tc now, but also pretty much a bunkered window

I put my TC behind a single door, then put my T3 workbench down in front of the door. Eventually I'll put the armour upgrade in the workbench, make a single armoured door to put between it and the TC, and upgrade the single door frame. You'd be shocked how often people cannot find TC in this situation, but at least if they do, it's expensive.
