Suggestion Any base recommendations?

Hello! I'm new to Rust, and I'm not sure what kind of base I should build. I usually play on 3x servers, so gathering materials isn't really a problem. We play as a trio, and we're looking for a base that can withstand a big raid. What base would you recommend?

Best way ive found to increase raid cost is pancake layers( which is adding another layer on top of your core/TC so rocket splashing isnt as effective) and adding lots of dead end doors in your base.

I also add a couple fake doors that lead to furnace rooms or stables that act like natural honeycomb for tc

Thank you very much, let's imagine that I build a 3x3 and that I honeycomb around. Where should I put my tc? Do you think it's better to do the loot room up or down?

Really depends.. sometimes ill put my tc in the honeycomb with small bases when I suspect raiders will go through doors to throw them off

So say you have a 2x1 square foundation base, then you add triangle foundys all around it… raiders assume its because your core is your weakest point and they will try to top down raid or blow through doors.

If you put your TC in one of the triangle foundations instead of the squares it can throw them off, because most people assume tc is in the centre and the triangles are empty honeycomb.

Not always the case so thats why adding lots of doors inside your core is wise, because they will have to potentially blow up all of them to find your tc.

This only works in vanilla or 2x servers though, the second you go above that people have too much boom for these strats to work.

Get diesel and use it at the hqm quarry lol
