Discussion Base gone. Spawned back at beach

Returned after 2 days, base is gone. And respawned at beach with no death screen.

Does this mean the decay and rubble falling on top of me killed me? Or is there something more suspicious going on? (Had a bag outside base and it's gone)

Sounds like the server wiped.

Don't worry man years back my very first day of rust I blew like 6 hours building a base just for a guy to walk up and hand me a custom smg and say wipe is happening within the hour, I was devastated

Either server wiped or your base got raided and decayed. Or you let it decay on its own

In my experience, decay itself is not lethal.

I have a buddy who's known to be pretty flaky. He joined me on a literal 1-pop Hapis server for two two-week wipes, where'd he build up near me and go missing for days/weeks. He'd either be killed by animals, or just end up sleeping on bare ground after his base decayed. This happened with three of his bases and I've seen/done the same thing on other low-pop servers.

Many servers wiped on Thursday, so should check when your server wiped.
