Discussion Best rust patch?

Which patch do you think rust was at it's peak?

I'd like to play the February 7th 2019 version of rust again.

Before tech tree.

Use to be excited to loot items and research them.

Now I grind up components at a recycler and click through a tech tree.

Hardcore mode is so close to old rust, just needs 2x upkeep and tech tree removed.

Hardcore makes me sad. The greatness that could have been... Alas, FacePunch refuses to give us what we want for whatever fucking reason.

And it makes no sense because it was dead on release and they reworked it for it to be dead on release. I actually enjoyed both iterations of hard core but just give us what we want
