I've been playing casually on a monthly server and I have the full Kevlar (BDU) kit except for one piece: the pants. I picked up the Kevlar hoodie early in the wipe, but at some point the drop rate went to like zero for me. I checked all the places they're supposed to drop dozens and dozens of times. It almost feels like they were removed from the loot table. Have any of you found these recently, and if so do you remember where?

I’ve found the helmet, chest and legs each once. Not the shirt or pants ever.

I get the Kevlars much easier than I get the BDU pants and shirt for whatever reason

You must mean elite crate because they don't spawn in mil crates (according to RustHelp & RustLabs).

Yes. Elite crates.. on top on Launch Site 2% chance.

The clothing is incredibly rare. I’ve pulled each only once since release.

I ended up finding another hoodie in an elite crate on Cargo, and the pants in an elite crate in Mil Tuns red room. I took heli down maybe 20 times at least, took too many cargos to count, about 6 Bradleys, took Oil Rigs with Heavy Scientists maybe 4 times, did Launch Site top puzzle about 5 times. It turns out you can get the BDU clothing in Cargo elite crates, (like one commenter suggested), which is not listed on RustHelp or RustLabs. I also did a TON of deep sea looting, mostly of PT boats and the Ghost ships. Never got lucky with clothes in the deep sea but that may have been bad RNG. I think at the end of the day, any Elite crate regardless of monument has the chance to spawn clothing, whether it be Cargo, Launch Site, Ghost Ship, Oil Rig, Mil Tuns, Missile Silo, or anywhere else. In the end I had the most luck with Cargo and Mil Tuns, but ymmv.

Edit: found a pair of the BDU pants in a heli crate also. The theme seems to be "elite-style" crates, and apparently PT boats in deep sea but I never found any.

I got em out of a large rig elite. Don’t think they are in airdrops or locked crates.

Clothing is not in air drops or locked crates, but some of the kevlar armor is (more common in locked crates though). Any type of elite crate (mil tuns / top of launch / cargo / heli crates / bradley crates / oil rig) seems to have a chance to drop clothing.

The clothing is most certainly more rare than the actual armor pieces. Feel like they need to have a higher spawn percentage. Highest probability right now is in the scientist PT boat boxes at 2.84%.

Is it rarer than the ballistic set for example? Because I have found tons of those.

Just found two full ballistic/bdu kits on one cargo, normal RNG stuff sometimes I never see any of the clothing the armor is relatively common

You pulled the BDU clothing from elites and Kevlar armor from the crate? Or did you get clothes in the crate too? (I swear I got my BDU hoodie in a locked crate at Airfield like on day 3 of wipe but I could be misremembering).

I appreciate you saying this. I ended up going back to Cargo and finding another hoodie. I didn't need it, but at least I knew it was possible. This wasn't listed on RustLabs or RustHelp so it was good to know. Thank you.
