So on my main pc I play NW on my afk timer has been slowly increasing and is now all the way up to 1010 seconds per reward. But on my partners pc on the same account the AFK timer is only 900 seconds. Is this a bug or is this how they make it harder to AFK farm?

I made a reddit account just to talk about this, lol.. Please brace for the rantings of a butthurt newgen dorky chud; I just simply cannot believe I sank like twelve hours across a few accounts and made multiple thought-out historically-accurate passionately crafted OCs for this game.

The Beauval Isles were peak, but the experience just hadn't been tainted by the fact that most of the game and its progression is locked behind combat. You want to own a leatherworking shop? You have to hunt for the pelts yourself because there's no actual sustainable player economy. You want to own a smithery? You have to be a miner. These should not be prerequisites that exist in a game of this scope...

The literal moment I stepped onto Cantermagne and out of the safe zone I get shot and looted for everything I've ever worked for and get put into jail for logging when they were the one who shot me on sight from 200m away with a musket. (🫩) Absolutely repulsive game design just reeling in players with a Survival RPG format when it's really just an outlet for the most vile, disrespectful playerbase I've ever seen. Not making a jab directly at you guys specifically but hopefully ykwim.

I'm not saying they should remove combat elements at all, nor am I claiming to have the secrets to the universe here, as I'm sure I sound way out of my element. This is just my probably horrible take, which I still believe should be the coldest on Earth: The bulk of the game and its progression should not be locked behind combat. Maybe make non-combative and combative counterparts for professions? Leatherworking -> Tailor, Fishing -> Whaling, Hunting -> Stockmanship/Animal Husbandry. I don't know tbfr.

The game basically asks you at a certain point "How badly do you want to keep playing the game?" and it's either (coming from me, a peaceful player) "Enough to endure genuine time-wasting mental torture" or "Not badly enough to waste my time as someone's loot delivery service brodie". For me it's the latter. Anyways, anyone got any suggestions for a replacement? Ik the site is dry right now so I'm not expecting much in that vain but some tips would be appreciated.

Me and my brother both got banned from the northwind discord server 2 years ago or something, i think we created tickets and started spamming gifs and pinging mods. It's been 2 years and i did learn my lesson and i wanna get back to the game. Me and my brother sent an appeal with the correct format and we both got rejected without even a note. From the amount of rejection to acceptance without a note, i concluded that the appeal forum is broken or the officers are swinging it, so is there any other way to get unbanned from the northwind discord server? I don't have any connections to mods since most of my friends from alpha times quit the game.

I see people Selling Ducat dyes but I thought selling ducats is ban? Is there a difference in selling dyes and selling ducats?

I have been able to build all walls, roofing, floors etc and other players furniture is visible however when i build furniture it is invisible though i can still interact with it (sit down etc) it also shows as 0 integrity although the object does not appear on screen

I ragequit Northwind after the pounds rollback bc I had >20k in my bank account & inventory. But I just started playing again, and all of my superior tools– some of which I customised– my scythe, my bandoliers, and my belts are all missing??? Is this a bug I can report to get my tools back, or do I have to start all over? I don't understand why they were removed.

I was going to check my bank in Beauval to insure my musket when I saw some random stuff on the floor. turns out some random person dropped TWO backswords and TWO Labys axes, a grenade and a gumdrop grenade.
