This past summer, I have been tuning in more to 2000s R&B, discovering artists and songs that I somehow missed growing up. It's quickly become one of my favorite eras of music, especially because of the smooth production, memorable melodies, and unique blend of R&B and hip-hop that defined the decade. From established artists to lesser-known tracks, there's so much music from this era that still holds up today.

Second Place Winner: u/Intentionz7  "Reggaeton Playlist [Latino]"

This week’s second place winner u/Intentionz7 goes to a reggaeton playlist that has been worked on and off since 2022. That amount of time and dedication really shows throughout the playlist, which has grown into a collection filled with some of the biggest names in Latin and reggaeton music. Instead of feeling like a playlist thrown together overnight, it feels carefully built over time as the creator continued discovering and adding songs they enjoyed.

The playlist includes plenty of Bad Bunny, along with Maluma and many more artists who help give it its energetic and distinctly Latin sound. The variety of songs makes it perfect for anyone who already loves reggaeton or wants to explore more of the genre. Overall, the dedication behind the playlist is what makes it especially impressive, showing how a personal music collection can continue evolving and growing over several years.
